Is Nintendo running out of ideas?

It's made for people who didn't want the pointless 3D technology.

But 3 is bigger than 2, that's progress, try to give a kid the 2 instead of the 3, and a hurricane will brake loose.

What if the kid gets a seizure from the 3D function and it won't shut off? (Not that it could happen, but...)

Soon, they'll be releasing a Nintendo DS. Just you wait and see... Oh wait.

I'm waiting for SEGA to make a big comeback into the console world.

That actually looks more comfortable to hold to me than the normal ds. Also if I can pick one up for $100 on black friday I might get one.

More like 130 bucks, most people would just pay another 40 for the 3. I guess that they made that for 2nd world, and even emerging markets.

Oh no I knew that it was going to be $130 but that's why I said Black Friday.

I forget, daily, that the WiiU has been released. I can't believe that they put that trash out.

bought a 3ds on launch day. was an interesting hand-held despite the lack of games (re-releasing nintendo 64 games doesn't count), but the build quality was absolute sh*t. I rarely used the thing, and kids never touched it, and the f*cker bricked in under a year. but even looking past that, the best games I saw on it were the tech demos that came with the 3ds. so while it could have been a great platform, it was poised to dominate in a $0.99 app store environment similar to android and ios. but instead, nintendo prevented indie developers and tried to raise prices $10/cartridge and only offer for download ports of nes/snes games. not trying to hate on nintendo, but their failed business models makes them deserve to go the route of sega.
